Our journey didn't start with coffee, however. It started with tea.

Our founder spent decades chasing the rich diversity of tea from around the globe. Fragrant jasmine pearls. Many forms of Darjeeling. Smoky Lapsang Souchong. Earthy oolong. Tea offered a choose-your-own-adventure of flavor, culture, and tradition that shaped a lifelong curiosity about what a hot drink could actually be.

Coffee came later. The first sip of a thoughtfully roasted Ethiopian Yirgacheffe was a revelation. Citrus, floral, nutty, all at once. Coffee, like tea, could be dynamic and contain layers of flavors all as an expression of terroir, care, and craftsmanship. The exploration of coffee's duality started in that cup and hasn't slowed since.

Today, Duality Coffee is what that exploration looks like as a small specialty roastery in Westminster, Colorado. We focus our coffee sourcing with direct-trade partners from the best coffee-growing regions in the world. We roast each batch to order, the day your order is placed. We exist to bring you coffee that arrives fresh, with the story of where it came from intact, and a window wide enough for you to find your own favorite cup inside it.

For us, coffee isn't a beverage. It's a connection. Between cultures, flavors, the farmer and the kitchen, the morning and the moment. Whether you're savoring a quiet cup at home or sharing one with friends, we're honored to be part of the ritual.
