This coffee, sourced directly from our Colombian farm partnership, is a fantastic example of an approachable daily sipper. This is a Colombian Caturra (sub varietal of Arabica) which grows exceptionally well in the Cauca region. These beans are put through a fully washed process which helps to focus the overall flavor profile.
We roast this to a medium level which perfectly balances the approachable and familiar palate. Much like our Costa Rica washed, it’s smooth and easy-drinking on it’s own but is a star in a latte or cortado. The low acidic profile is well complemented by the smooth, medium mouthfeel.
Tasting notes: Mandarin Orange, milk chocolate, light floral notes complimented by a sweet, balanced medium mouthfeel.
Hipster tasting notes: Obscured by the orange grove of the barely sane, a clearing containing a tranquil campsite rests where a tri-windowed barn once stood. The remnants of the barn, long dissolved except for the memory of a chosen few, give way to springtime blossoms lifting Earthly energy up into the atmosphere. This moment, like all others adjacent, escapes you as you maraud with a rabble of newly metamorphosed butterflies seeking saccharine reprisal.
