Peru - Washed Organic 8oz bag

$13.00

This Peruvian coffee comes from a farm near Soritor that was once abandoned then rejuvenated less than a decade ago. In starting the farming operations back up, the focus is centered around sustainability, gaining Organic certification, Fair Trade certification as well as Rainforest Alliance certification. This particular coffee is shade grown at an elevation from 1500-1800m (4900 -5900’). We love the flavor profile of this coffee and roast to a medium profile to balance the unique combination of earthy and fruit tones. It’s very smooth and will shine across many different brew methods.

Tasting notes: Dark Cherry, nutty, toffee and malt with hints of red wine on the finish

Hipster tasting notes: Cashews roasted over a small flame from dried moss in a cave greet your senses with a warm, familiar embrace. You sip the elixir that a shadowed figure places in your hand you as you back away toward the light. Emerging from a dream, the air is weighted with focused calm.

8oz resealable bag with one-way CO2 valve to preserve freshness
